Here's how you can become involved

Volunteer your time with a local community organization which is responding to the needs of the most marginalized in your community.
Possibilities are immigrant organizations, churches, soup kitchens, domestic violence shelters, and the like.
  • Become an active member in an organization which is working to create global political or social institutions which will go hand in hand with the global economy.
Witness for Peace, School of the Americas Watch, U.N. organizations, students against sweatshops, international human rights work, People of Faith Network, and many other possibilities exist.
  • Educate others by organizing a group to take a BorderLinks trip.

  • Form, or join, a local group that spends consistent time reflecting on globalization issues and how we can best respond.

  • Encourage your church or civic organization to become an annual donor for a BorderLinks program.

  • Educate yourself further about economics and get involved in the local political scene.

  • Suggest a new program which you might develop with the BorderLinks staff.

  • Make a presentation to your church group or civic organization about your BorderLinks experience.
We depend on you.
