For those (financially) dry summer months in Tucson...

The Emergency Fund is an account which is held apart from the operating fund to be used during those times of the year when our income doesn't keep up with expenses.

The Fund started with a gift of $2,000 and has grown through numerous smaller gifts. Eventually, we would like to see this fund have the potential for covering two months worth of expenses.

The lean summer months are always hardest for us. When simply making it through is at issue, that's when we will need the Emergency Fund.

We know that financial security will always be elusive. If we aren't stretching ourselves each year to do more than we did the year before, something is wrong. But at the same time we need to ensure a bit of stability in our financial planning.

Please consider a special tax deductible contribution to our Emergency Fund.

We depend on you.
