Reflections from past participants

A BorderLinks trip can be a profound experience, and participants are encouraged to write in their journals about what they see and feel. Some people share their experience by writing an article for a newsletter, church bulletin, local newspaper, or on a website. Others may not be writers, but have pictures they want to show.

We'd like to help you share your experience. If it's a printed piece, we can reproduce it on the web if you give us the word processed document.

Please note that these contributions represent the perspectives and opinions of the individual authors and not BorderLinks.

  • Snapshots from the edge: a report from the U.S./Mexico border, by Kevin Clarke

  • A BorderLinks' Trip Reflection, Ashley Huff, Hastings College
This reflection is a blog so it is arranged with the most recent posting first following to the earlier postings. To be read in sequence one must move to the end of the blog and read the postings in reverse order. It was an amazing trip, Ashley. Thanks for sharing it with us. From the staff at BorderLinks.

  • For more on the Migrant Trail Walk, an annual event commorating the pilgrimage of migrants in the Arizona Sonoran Desert, see NoMoreDeaths.org. This site will provide background on the walk and a regular update on the number of deaths occurring in the desert.
