Casa Misericordia in Nogales Return to Tucson, AZ facility.
Our dream of purchasing the Casa Misericordia in Nogales, Mexico, is a reality. BorderLinks' Mexican nonprofit organization signed the papers to take possession of the property. The generosity of our supporters allowed us to make all the payments for the property in little more than one year. Long-term Casa volunteers continue to arrive each morning to prepare a meal for the three hundred children who come for lunch. Our staff is now working hard to put together a plan for how to expand the work of the Casa into an integrated community and retreat center offering community service, leadership development and experiential education seminars.
